System Requirement –
- PHP 5.3 or above
- PHP 5.4 is required if the Facebook content module will be used.
- MySQL 4.1.2 or above
Installation in Softaculous #
How to install Dolphin on your site using Softaculous?
Softaculous allows you to set up applications very fast. Within several clicks, you install the application on your account.
Follow the steps below:
1. Go to your cPanel
2. Under the software, section click on the “Softaculous App Installer” icon
3. On clicking Softaculous app installer open a new page. Here you can install the new application. On the left side, you see the categories menu. You search the Dolphin application and click on it.
4. Open a new window and click on the blue “Install” button.
5. In the new interface, you need to provide more details.
Fill in the details below:
- In Directory – You will able to access the website using your domain name.
- Site Name – In this box you type your website name and by default, it is set to “my Dolphin” you can change it to describe your new website name.
- Admin user name – You see here “admin” if you want to change it in to use a different user name.
- Admin Password – In this box automatically generates a unique password but you can change it type a new password that you can remember more easily.
6. The last step is to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the “Install” button. Then your application is installed and ready to use. You can log in to the admin area and start managing your website.
