What is Nextcloud? #
Nextcloud is free and open-source software. It is a suite of client-server software for creating and using file hosting servers. It is enterprise-ready with comprehensive support options and anyone is allowed to install and operate it on their own private server devices.
It is written in the PHP and JavaScript scripting languages and it is designed to work with several database management systems including SQLite, MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL. It can replace many of the online apps you use for collaboration, organization, and task management.
It provides universal access to data while keeping IT in control, with a complete content collaboration platform. Store, share, and edit documents alone or with others, take, notes during an audio/video chat or manage your tasks, and calendars from one platform.
It can access files stored with a wide variety of popular cloud service providers such as Amazon, Google, and Dropbox, but you can also access them using standard protocols such as NFS, (s)FTP, WebDAV, and more.

How to install Nextcloud using Softaculous #
Step 1. Go to cPanel
Step 2. Under the software, section click on the “Softaculous App Installer” button
Step 3. On this window, you see a sidebar on the left side select “File Management” then scroll down to the “Nextcloud” click there
Step 4. After clicking open new interface here click on the “Install Now” button
Step 5. On the new window, you fill in the information
Step 6. First, choose the installation URL
Step 7. Next box choose Protocol
Step 8. Then next box Choose the Domain
Step 9. Then choose in a directory
Step 10. Then Create your administrator user name, password
Step 11. Write Email in the Email box.
Step 12. Next box select language which you can use
Step 13. Click on the install button at the bottom of the page
Step 14. You will get confirmation of successful installation on the interface.
