Installation of webmail lite #
For installation of webmail lite you have to follow some steps, also for installation of webmail lite there are 2 methods

- Manual installation
Installation using softaculous app installer #
For installation of webmail lite using softaculous app installer, you have to follow some steps the steps are as follows
Step1: login to your hostrik Cpanel account, and in the software section click on softaculous app installer, softaculous app installer window will open
Step2: type the webmail lite in the search box of the softaculous app installer and press enter, webmail lite installation window will open, click on install
Step3: Select the protocol for the installation URL that is (HTTP:// or HTTPS://) and then select the domain and the directory for installation.
Step4: in the incoming mail, setting select the port from which incoming mail will become. also select the server for that that is IMAP.domain name, and for security turn on the SSL.
Step5: in outgoing mail also select the port for outgoing mails and server for that, that is SMTP, and then turn on the SSL
Step6: in the site setting give the site name and also the email address for the site.
Step7: in the admin account setting create the username and password for the admin account.
Step8: in advance, option select the database name and backup option for it if you want otherwise click install
Manual installation #
For manual installation, you have to follow some steps the steps are divided into 3 parts

File configuration
Step1: go to the official website of webmail lite and download the latest version of webmail from the download section.
Step2: login to the hostrik Cpanel account, go to the file manager, and in the file, manager goes to public_html, and in the public_html folder create a new folder that is mail and upload the downloaded file there and extract it.
Database creation
Step1: go to the database section and click on MySQL Database and create a database here. By giving the name to the database and click on create database.
Step2: add a user to the database by giving a username and password for the user and click on create user.
Step3: add all privileges to the user by clicking all privileges.
Webmail configuration
Step1: go to the URL where you going to install webmail, you will see the installation is done just log into the WebMail interface with default credentials of super admin login and empty password:
