Installation using softaculous app installer #
For installation of live helper chat using a softaculous app installer you have to follow the following steps, the steps are as follows.
Step1: login to hostrik Cpanel account, and in the software section click on softaculous app installer, new window of softaculous app installer will open
Step2: type live helper chat in the search box of the softaculous app installer and press enter, the installation window of live helper chat will open click on the install button.
Step3: in the software setup section, select the protocol for your website and domain for installation and select the directory if you want otherwise to leave it.
Step4: In the next section select the name for the department.
Step5: in this section, select the admin username and password for admin control and then give the admin account’s email address.
Step6: In the advanced section select the database and backup for it if you want otherwise direct click on install. This is the installation of live helper chat using a softaculous app installer.
Manual installation #
For installation of OSClass, there are 3 parts to install, the parts are given below
- File configuration

File configuration
Step1: Go to the official website of live helper chat and download the latest version of it.
Step2: Login to your hostrik Cpanel account and go to file manager, and upload the extracted file in the public_html folder of the domain you want to install.
Database configuration
Step1: Login to your Cpanel account and go to the database section. And click on MySQLDatabase.
Step2: In that create the database for your website. (type the name of the database and click create database)
Step3: After creating a database you have to add a user to that database. (in add user section give username and password of the user and click create user)
Step4: After creating user give them privileges (after creating a user new window will open click all privileges and save changes)
Live helper chat configuration
Step1: go the URL you are going to install the software you will see it will check all requirements for the installation then click on next.
Step2: Next step you have to configure the database you have created in the above step, give your database name and password.
Step3: Here you have to create your account by giving the account name password and also account owner name and email also.
Step4: Here you will see the installation is completed and you will get a login account link. click on the link if you want to login
Step5: log in with your username and password. after login you will see the dashboard of the live helper chat.
